What a weekend we had! Seven ducks needed a new home... so now we have a whole raft added to our two (this is what a flock of ducks is called). Mr. Drake, Harley, Rebeccah, Jemima, Betty, Skye, and Darling Suzie. I think Justin and I are still frozen from two days of 20degress or less in the wind making them a home. But it’s worth it. They will have a much better life then where they came from. Bigger house. Bigger pen. Safe space. More hay. More water. More feed. They have a wonderful spot right outside my bedroom window 🦆 Three additional drakes will be harvested tomorrow - we picked the best one to stay with our six girls
