WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?

Justin is a Scottish Laird. His title is: Laird Nicholson of Chaol Glen (for more info on this, visit the "about us" page). To honor our Scottish heritage, we wanted to pick a name in Gaelic, the Scottish language. When we were initially clearing the brush and tilling the land, we found there were massive boulders and pieces of rock hidden just beneath the soil, scattered all over the property. So we settled on the name Carnoch, which means "On rocky ground".

We love to do educational petting zoos! We do them for County Fairs and other large events, birthday parties, photo shoots, field trips and more!

We bring the animals and pens as well as educational posters, hand washing stations and other resources. We fully staff the animal pens with our family members and offer chances for people to touch the animals and ask questions.
